Hard Chrome Plating:

Hard ChromeHard Chrome plating will improve the efficiency and increase the life of the plated part. Deposit thicknesses range from “flash” (very thin deposits .000010”) to “heavy buildups” (up to .050 in some cases). The final application of the part usually determines the thickness of the deposit. On shafts, pins and other high wear components, the benefit of chrome increases in proportion to the thickness of the deposit. Thicker deposits are used in industrial equipment to reduce friction and wear and to restore the dimensions of equipment that has experienced wear.

With our unique in house tooling and fixturing we can improve production time, delivering better service and savings to our customers.

Our years of servicing the tool and die and mold making industry has given us the expertise necessary to supply the highest quality chrome plating available.

Chromium can be deposited on a wide variety of metals and are most receptive for an adherent deposit on metals such as:

  • Copper & Brass
  • Steel
  • Stainless steel alloys

Hard Chrome is an excellent application in industries such as:

  • Screw Machine Companies
  • Tool & Die Companies
  • Stamping Companies
